About Dog Training and Behaviour – South East London
Dog Training & Behaviour is run by Toni Ballantyne-Clarke.
Animals have played a large part in Toni’s life and she has always been fascinated with their behaviour, especially dogs. But it wasn’t until taking dog training classes with her own puppy that Toni met a trainer who talked about how to motivate a dog to carry out the behaviours we want and how to ‘not pay’ the dog for behaviours that we don’t want to encourage.
Inspired by this positive approach to training Toni went on to study further, she now has a BSc (Hons) in Applied Animal Behaviour and an Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management. She is a full member of both The Canine Behaviour & Training Society (formerly known as The UK Registry of Canine Behaviourists) and The Animal Behaviour & Training Council. She is also a member of The Kennel Club Accreditation Scheme for Instructors working towards Accreditation in Dog Training and Canine Behaviour (KCAI), and has worked with Charities Ani-Mates and the RSPCA.
